Light & Medium OEM Commercial Deals
Transform standard cargo van and chassis cab orders (Transit, ProMaster, Silverado HD) into turnkey, fully branded commercial deliveries, before or after the customer takes key delivery.
Heavy-Duty Commercial & Class 7-8 Truck Dealers
Capture massive upfit margins on day cabs, sleeper units, dump bodies, and vocational box trucks. Roll multi-thousand-dollar fleet graphics straight into primary commercial line-of-credit financing, where your lender allows it.
Independent & Used Commercial Specialists
Differentiate your used commercial inventory. Offer custom branding packages at the point of sale to convert bare white work trucks into high-margin, turnkey business assets.
A 100% Virtual Upfit: Maximum Backend Gross. Zero Floorplan Risk.
Bypass bailment pool delays and holding interest. Fleet Herald puts high-margin upfitting on your paper without touching your bank credit line.
The Floorplan Trap vs. the Virtual Upfit
Physical upfits (service bodies, utility caps, box builds) strand commercial chassis at remote bailment pools for 6 to 12 weeks, racking up monthly floorplan interest. By the time the vehicle arrives, holding costs have eaten your front-end margin.
Fleet Herald operates as a 100% Virtual Upfit:
Zero Floorplan Utilization: Tying up zero dollars on bank credit lines.
0-Day Inventory Carry: No physical accessories sit on dealership shelves.
Zero Curtailment Exposure: Vehicles remain on your lot or undergo rapid local upfit in Canton without multi-month transit delays.
Make More Money Selling the Upfit Than Selling the Truck.
Eradicate the "Mini" and turn your commercial sales team into a highly motivated upfit sales force.
The Commodity Trap (Eliminating the "Mini")
Commercial contractors shop inventory across a 150-mile radius, forcing dealerships to cut vehicle prices to invoice or below holdback, leaving sales reps with a disheartening minimum flat commission voucher.
How it works
Open the account.
You and Fleet Herald set the rate sheet, payment terms, who does what and any incentive plan for your floor, all in writing. Once we hold your completed Ohio exemption certificate, we bill work you resell without tax; you collect it on your retail line.
Present it at the desk.
Show the buyer the options. Settle the package, and how it's being paid for, before the order goes in. Your salesperson can start the quote on this site with the buyer at the desk and put the stock number on it.
Authorize. Install. Invoice.
Before anything prints, we lock the scope, the artwork and the date. You send your PO or RO with stock number and VIN. We invoice once per vehicle at completion, on the terms in your agreement, whether or not the deal has funded.
How the margin works
Put business graphics on the same deal as the vehicle, the way you already sell protection. You set the retail price. You pay us our dealer rate. What sits between the two, before sales tax, is yours.
Your price. Our rate.
Choose from agreed graphics packages at a dealer rate and set your own retail. Our suggested retail is exactly that, suggested. Terms for approved commercial accounts are set at onboarding, on the same basis as our existing dealer program.
Financed where it fits.
Your finance team decides whether graphics ride in the deal, with two checks first: does the lender's advance leave room on this unit, and is the graphics line an optional, separately priced item the buyer agrees to in writing? We supply the itemized quote; the contract and its disclosures are yours.
One shop, start to finish.
The first proof comes back within 72 hours of us receiving the artwork and details. Revisions and the installation happen at our shop. The vehicle delivers on your schedule; the graphics go on before or after delivery, as you decide, at an appointment set around your delivery date.
When the clock starts: the 72 hours run from us receiving your artwork and details during shop hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and from the next business morning when they arrive after hours, not from first contact. We need all of it to start: print-ready artwork or a request for design help, your vehicle or fleet details, and your package choice. A delay on your side pauses the clock for as long as it lasts, and so does anything outside either of our control.
Prefer an introduction fee instead?
Some stores would rather not carry graphics on their own paper. Introduce the buyer, and we sell, design and install the graphics ourselves. Your dealership earns an agreed referral fee on every eligible job we complete and get paid for. The fee is fixed in writing with your management before anyone presents the program to a buyer, and how you share it with your salespeople is your pay plan.
A shop, not a platform
Order a wrap from a national platform and the company that sells it is not the company that installs it. We are both. Every design is drawn in Canton, every revision happens at the same desk, and the wrap goes on in a climate-controlled bay about a third of a mile away. We've been installing film here since 2018, and we already run a dealer program for ceramic coating, paint protection film and window tint.

Questions
Who contracts with the buyer?
We supply the itemized quote; the contract and its disclosures are yours. We invoice once per vehicle at completion, on the terms in your agreement, whether or not the deal has funded.
Can graphics be financed with the vehicle?
Your finance team decides whether graphics ride in the deal, with two checks first: does the lender's advance leave room on this unit, and is the graphics line an optional, separately priced item the buyer agrees to in writing? Financing eligibility is determined by the dealership and its lender.
